Bad Cager trends coming soon.

I gotta say I don't really have to deal with this cutting off businesses all too much here in London town. The occasional thought of bringing on a paintball gun onboard has certainly crossed my mind though.
Maybe it'll be my next winter's project

Dude. Relax. It's when you are approaching a slow moving car. Then at the worst possible time. On comes the blinker and over merges the idiot.
I am sitting at home drinking coffee with the fire place on... couldn't be more relax

Haha.. every once in a while i will mess with them on purpose and just drive right next to them so that they cant get in front or behind me! :angel4:

That kind of messing with another driver can get you charged under HTA 172.

8. Driving a motor vehicle without due care and attention, without reasonable consideration for other persons using the highway or in a manner that may endanger any person by,

i. driving a motor vehicle in a manner that indicates an intention to prevent another vehicle from passing,

ii. stopping or slowing down a motor vehicle in a manner that indicates the driver’s sole intention in stopping or slowing down is to interfere with the movement of another vehicle by cutting off its passage on the highway or to cause another vehicle to stop or slow down in circumstances where the other vehicle would not ordinarily do so,

Yeah, let me guess. Street racing. Right?

Show me a cop giving out tickets to truckers that feel the need to stop cars from passing in traffic.
Going so far as to cut back into a merge lane to stop you from passing and getting in front of them to the point of endangering you.

HTA 172 isn't just about racing and stunting. (I didn't make the law.) I don't even have a problem with the charges and the punishment AFTER the alleged perpetrator has his / her day in court. And yes the trucker should be charged along with all the other DA drivers out there. Read up on HTA 172 just in case you run across a cop having a bad day.

Cops don't need to have a bad day to give you an undeserving ticket, they just need to be *****... and they are.

Oh. I've read it. Many times. I have a copy tucked under my seat incase some power hungry cop starts spouting off about things he doesn't understand.

We are reaping what we sowed.
The problem is it will take 50+ years for the current batch of drivers to retire from driving.
The cycle will continue until strict enforcement is in place and the licensing system is firmed up.

Interesting thought.

If a driver's test was as stringent as a pilot's licence a majority of the drivers on the road would lose their licences. Think about the consequences.
Car sales (and jobs) plummet, a glut of used cars worth next to nothing. Auto mechanics out of work. Oshawa a ghost town.
Billions have to be poured into mass transit to get the peons to and from work and home.
Big box stores have to break up into smaller units like corner stores because people can't drive to them in mass.
The bus and train industry grow like crazy
Traffic cops have no traffic to cop so they become crime fighters.
Greenhouse gases decline and the unicorns come back. The world is saved.

Pure fantasy, like better drivers in the future.

It may also be that you see the blinker going and instead of giving the person a chance to merge, you are accelerating so they don't get in front of you! maybe?

The more pricks we are on the roads and don't let people in, the more you are going to see people not giving a crap and cutting you off.

So if you are noticing people around you behaving worse, just think what is your piece of the puzzle on their behavior.

Generally speaking!

+100000000000000000000!!!!

I see someones blinker and I will almost always let them in as long as it is safe to do so.

If I see a blinker, I let them in. Always unless it is unsafe or they are obviously being a dick. No blinker and I fight the person. My car is old.... I don't mind a ding. Other person tends to feel differently about their car.

I've never had an issue. Maybe you have issues cause you like to talk down to people! :D

Ya... If I'm alone in the car I'm not worried about a ding on my car.

There are the "new" drivers that don't know what they're doing such as not checking blind spots or staying in their lane, and there are the "veterens" that have been driving for a long time that think they're pros at driving so they cut multiple lanes constantly and think they don't need to signal or check their blind spots. Of course this only applies to some, not all.

I've had an old Russian woman come out of her car like she wanted to fight cause she turned left and almost hit my gf making a right to a single lane street from a green light cause apparently the woman said "you sped up to make the right turn so I couldn't go"..... She drove on the oncoming lane to cut us off in a residential street and brake check us hard. She also called herself a "professional driver" and told us that she was going to call the cops on us which I was just like "okay, go ahead".

Stupid person didn't realize that this isn't Russia.

She ended up driving away without calling the cops and almost ended up T-boning someone by blowing through a stop sign after the confrontation.

I hate a retort, but then kept reading.

You did forget the part about driving and riding becoming a more pleasurable experience, which is really the crux of it all.

Drivers who wait until they're actually turning left at an intersection before using signals. Like that's going to do me any good when I'm the driver behind wanting to go straight through.
