Back protector?

I hate the feeling of the back protector on me. With my track suit its ok I don't feel it, but when I have my street gear on...it sucks, everytime I lean forward and then come back it goes up my back and just get uncomfortable. I need to get one that goes IN my jacket. I also need pants that zip to my jacket....and proper boots since I destroyed my last pair on the track...

Go t-shirt like me!! Much cooler and more comfortable..

Why do you feel you need to wear one? Are you track riding?

i would think that if track riding the back protector is even less necessary than on the street, sure, track speeds are higher, but its generally flat sliding if you dump at the track.

on the street, there are curbs, lamp posts, cars, mail boxes, benches, trees, and any number of hard, non-flat objects that you would not want to wrap your spine around.

but hey... i like walking its fun, i enjoy it, and want to keep doing it from time to time... so i like my spine, and plus.... i only got one spine, its not like a leg or hand...
