Aurora M2 exit

Like the title says, I just scheduled my M2 exit for Tuesday may 6 at 10:50 am. I have a couple questions some people may be able to answer.

Does anyone know the exact route, or a good idea on the route I will be taking or is it completely up to the examiner? I'm also assuming all the normal stuff from the G2 exit will be there, just done on the bike instead of a car. Too bad I don't have 4-way hazards hah. I'm not worried about the small stuff, I'd just like to know the route if possible. I passed my G2 exit back at the old Morningside location back in 2006 after being awake 36 hours.

Though, I am worried about my second question. I have an M4 GP style pipe on my '12 ZX6r with the stage 1 baffle in it. Am I going to be able to hear the headset they give me? Does anyone else have experience with their crappy ear piece and loud exhausts? I really don't want the hassle of putting my stock pipe back on. All my exhaust parts and mounting hardware is strewn in several different ziplock bags all over the inside of my buddy's Tercel that he doesn't use and it would be a pain in the *** to try and find everything. LOL DAT EXHAUST EXCITEMENT

It's the same as the car. There's only two ways they can really take you, north on Yonge to Wellington, south on 404 to Bloomington, or vice versa. I recall Bayview and Industrial Parkway (nice twisty!) also being incorporated, just to make it not an exact square. Nothing complicated.

The route doesn't matter. What if there is an accident or construction and the route changes without notice?

Same exact route (took it there last year and passed).

If there is still construction there, remember that construction speed limit is 40 (I went 60 and got a ding for it). Check your mirrors like a paranoid owl and no duck waddling, I know a a few people who failed due to duck waddling.

They took me through a construction route when I took my test :S They were repaving everything - the roads weren't pretty when I took my test there.. Had to take it in rain as well. lol

Either way, if you know your tire tracks and haven't developed any bad driving habits, its easy.

Ear piece was fine - clear as a bell even with 5 cars between me and the chaser

I booked my M2 exit at Aurora for May 1st. I was going to book at Downsview but didn't want to face the crazy Toronto traffic.

what happens if you need to ride in Toronto? what will you do?

Well then I'll just have to suck it up and go with it :D

Has anyone done their exit test at Downsview? I heard one complaint but other than that most people found it okay.

The other reason I didn't go with Downsview is that the earliest test was May 15. Auroras earliest was May 1st. I just want it done and over with.

My friend went to Downsview.

Instructor does not even ride a bike. As my friend was going round a corner, the Instructor shouted at him and said I thought you where going to fall over.
He failed him. Obviously also includes other reasons.

Yes, it is 2nd hand knowledge.

I did my test at Downsview. I passed with flying colours. I read the M2 exit test thread. I made sure I was in the proper tire track, didn't shift through intersections, made my shoulder and mirror checks ver obvious and didn't care about the route.

I also did my G2 exit at Downsview, same result.

It might surprise some of you to learn that it's easy to past a riding / drivers test anywhere in the province, as long as you know what you're doing.

Hey bud, do you have the M2 exit marking sheet? After you read it and understand how you would lose marks, you won't be so worried about the route. Last time I didn't even go to rural area for the test. I showed up in Downsview location, one of the busiest! Didn't even know the route, i just followed their instructions and passed with no problems. I got very very few points deducted, maybe 1-3?? something like that, and their limit is like 20-30 can't remember. Overall it's very very easy.

If your that worried go to Bancroft or Huntville etc. Can't handle traffic then get the heck off a motorcycle and walk.

Im not worried at all lol. I was just curious if anyone knew the damn route. I usually work downtown and drive heavy traffic every day. It doesn't bug me

Maybe now you are not as worried after reading all the comments and related threads. But I am 100% positive that you were worrying about the test before, otherwise you wouldn't make a post so long in your original post about all the stuffs you are trying to get answered. There is nothing wrong confessing you are at least a bit worry. Everyone is nervous before taking a test, nobody is as calm as a sheep, by saying you are not worried at all, you are just saying you are better than all of us.
