I was meaning SMP sorry anyone have space on trailer? I was told TMP by another member...

Thanks

if you can find a front wheel chock + tie down + canyon dancer for your bike i can pull it for you. I only have hardware to pull a single bike flat open trailer.

Need to get back to me ASAP because I will need the day tomorrow to get it setup.

Thank you so much for your generosity, however it looks as though this day is falling apart for me, I would have no idea where to get the stuff you mentioned or in time to you for today, as well still havent heard back from the track about me purchasing someone elses track day from them....if suddenly my whole world turns around for the better then I will be there, but its not looking that way.

Again thanks so much for the offer.

KawasakiGal, if I could make a suggestion... The first track day I ever went to, I didn't pre register and never even took my bike off the trailer as it was full. I went down with a buddy...

It turned out to be a great thing, because I had plenty of time to walk around and meet people, and just get a feel for what it is like at the track. You will see what everyone else is doing, and what the norm is for track regulars, as far as gear, bike prep, trailer/pickup configuration and social encounters.

I was very nervous in the truck, riding to the track that first day, and it was almost a relief to not get to ride. I'm sure someone who is going that is on the forum wouldn't mind if you showed up in their pits and helped them get their bike on the stand when they come off the track, and you will probably enjoy it.... If you ride down yourself, you will be able to leave half way through the day and go for a nice ride on your way home.

Just sayin. :)

LAME!!!

I always pre-register.... saves some $$$ and guarantees a spot. No senseless driving, wasted vacation/sick days or gas money.

You make an excellent point. I may take a ride down on Friday to have a look around and return via Prince Edward County. I suspect I'll need to sign a waiver if I want to look around the pits etc. What track are they running on Friday? Use to do car track days years ago.

Also be prepared for an entrance fee.... TMP's self-organized track days is $10, I think? Unless you know someone who is going, ask to be on their guest-list.

Well, like I said, I went with a buddy who has done track days for years before me. He pre-registered. He drove. It was a weekend... really I didn't lose out on anything other than having to reconnect my blinkers. ;)

I always pre-register, now, too though. What would be a waste of money would be to pre-register with no way to get your bike to the track or not be able to get your bike tech'd because you are missing something.

Either way I think showing up at the track and never even having been to one in the first place, and then thinking you are anywhere near prepared to ride it after an hour of setup time still seems a little crazy to me.
