I was out in my full leather gear, boots and gloves. Ask anyone that joined my ride.![]()
True statement. I was there.
Despite the heat I still wore my jacket and gloves and jeans (don't have riding pants yet).

Aww Comon bro, why you edited the post for ?, if you're going to make a ballzy statement like that Own it and stand by it, I can agree to disagree but could at least respect the fact that you backed it up, not changed you're mind & deleted you're original post-TySweating is a lot more comfortable than sliding on your skin on the extremely hot pavement and being burned alive. Unfortunately there are huge numbers of riders who ride without gear, complete and utter retards if you ask me, that shouldn't even be allowed to own bikes.
LOL fair enough, I am one of those **** for brainsI toned it down because I don't want to get into countless arguments. But the **** I edited, I still believe in.
OP be trollin'.where were you guys today? was out for a few hours and haven't seen a single one of you.....
how many of you gear nazi's were out riding in a t-shirt today? be honest.....

See i would argue that for my yrs of experience and seen everything under the sun 7 pretty well ridden everything that i would put my comfort over functionality. To clarify on that this is what i mean and respectfully my 25+ yrs should entitle me to an opinion since i am still here today to talk about it , from my experience ,if you are focused on factors that cause you being uncomfortable and creating discomfort due to the restriction of you're gear, then you're focus is not where it needs to be which is on the road in front of you because you're to busy dealing with the gear related issues and therefore if you're a daily commuter or recreational rider totally takes the enjoyment out of the riding experience because you're restricted by all the gear and trying to re-adjust and ride at the same time, I ride with no gloves unless cooler temps cuzz i like to feel the feedback in the throttle and i find gloves restrict and confine my hands from feeling it. I only believe in helmets, i ride to enjoy and feel comfortable, mind you i dont wear shorts, tank top or crocs either but i will dress according to the time of day ,weather etc. and in my life and experience it has worked out pretty good and now in my 40's and will continue to be an enthusiasts and ride the same way.Yeah, if you ride without gear, then you most certainly are.

Well said.If you're dealing with gear related issues you should not be on a motorcycle. The same stuff was used to complain about seat belts.Get yourself some decent gear and make it to 50.The kids are out on the track, zipping around at hundreds of miles an hour for hours and not complaining about gear being too this or that, what's different with you?
Dude did you just really go there? 1st off you're comparing apples& hand grenades. those "kids" you call them ride around in controlled environments, hay bales, tire walls and corner marshalls, they dont deal with 18 wheelers, soccer moms ,concrete barriers, or other obstacles crossing the road in our path like people etc. Same old BS reply comparing track racing to street riding. I dont have gear related issues, that's because i dont wear any!If you're dealing with gear related issues you should not be on a motorcycle. The same stuff was used to complain about seat belts.Get yourself some decent gear and make it to 50.The kids are out on the track, zipping around at hundreds of miles an hour for hours and not complaining about gear being too this or that, what's different with you?
OP be trollin'.
I was out in full gear riding up and down the forks around 11 this morning.
All the extra dangers you just mentioned for street riding as opposed to track is more reason to wear gear!Dude did you just really go there? 1st off you're comparing apples& hand grenades. those "kids" you call them ride around in controlled environments, hay bales, tire walls and corner marshalls, they dont deal with 18 wheelers, soccer moms ,concrete barriers, or other obstacles crossing the road in our path like people etc. Same old BS reply comparing track racing to street riding.
