where were you guys today? was out for a few hours and haven't seen a single one of you.....
how many of you gear nazi's were out riding in a t-shirt today? be honest.....

This is why I have not been riding during the day. During the day I stay hidden away behind heavily draped windows with the AC on full blast. At night I don my kit, full ATGATT, hop on the bike and enjoy the more pleasant temps.

I'd rather sweat than bleed. :)

I was pretty geared up today.. Gloves, full boots, textile riding pants, and the mesh part with armor of my Joe Rocket Alter Ego. It was HOT!!

I saw very few sport bikes today. It was mostly cruisers and mostly t-shirts or tank tops and jeans. I expect I'll hear more sport bikes out my window once the sun is down!

I had jacket and gloves and heavy pants on. Frikkin hot! Nothing like being stuck on the QEW, with the fan going at noon, and no movement whatsoever. The squidding option didn't look so bad at all, I'll be honest! lol!

I'd be out there ATGATT, but I haven't ridden street for years now. It's hot, but not as hot as that pavement on bare skin. I never understood riding a sport bike in shorts/t-shirt with a back protector either, but I guess as long as your not paralized, you could suffer through the rash?

Riding between Milton and Hamilton, I'm still too new to run anything but ATGATT. It was hot, but I found it was hotter once I stopped.

Full face, vented leathers, boots, leg armour under my jeans and armoured gloves. Just another day. It's not the Mojave you know. It was only 30C or so.

You have noticed perhaps that people that live in the desert don't wear t-shirts and shorts. I felt sorry for the lobsters I saw riding around today with all their skin exposed. Several of them didn't need any hi-viz as their skin was glowing.

EDIT for typo.

Full helmet, textile (took liner out 'cause it was cooking me...), textile pants, summer gloves and my usual (A.S.) boots... Was fine. Thanks for asking ;)

The Mojave would have been more pleasant today than here. They don't tend to get the same humidity effect that we do.

Here it was 30 to 35 today and the humidity hitting 50% gave a feels-like temperature approaching 40 degrees. The Mojave "feels-like" peaked at 33.

I was geared up today. When I got home my wife wouldn't go near me because I was drenched. The shower was one of the best I've ever had.

I was out in my full leather gear, boots and gloves. Ask anyone that joined my ride. :)

Hmm, alright let's substitute Death Valley or Gobi or Sahara or other "really f'n hot place". I think people get my point. ;)

Rode about 400km just doing Sunday errands and visiting a friend out of town. I was rollin ATGATT and nursing some harsh sunburn. The sunburn reminded me of how it feels to have road rash :)

Me too, full gear... 2pc leather, lid, gloves & boots. It was hot, but not bad on the move.

Got off work at 4:00pm. 35C, 41C humidex. HOT. Full gear: FF helmet, JR mesh jacket, A* mesh pants, boots, gloves. It was not too bad when moving but stopped at traffic lights I was fanning myself under my helmet to increase air circulation. Unrelated to gear, as usual my left thigh was beginning to cook, so sometimes I ride with the left leg sticking out for a couple of seconds.

I saw one other rider. On a sportbike, the rider was ATGATT, but stopped under a tree in the shade.
