The V-Rod is still the only HD I look at at think, hmmmm, maybe. Nothing against HD, they just don't do it for me but the V-Rod is a pretty sexy machine.
Why didn't Eric Buell ever use the Vrod motor in his stuff. A real motor in a real chassis?

I started basically when I could walk and Kyle started at 21. Instead of writing the journey down here... just read it here

Oh wow! brings back memories just thinking about this. That too scary ones.

I rode the first time when I was 10 or 12, I don't remember exactly. Totally illegal. This was back in India, no helmet no safety gear. I had asked my then older friends about the theory of motorcycle operation. During my summer vacay, I was staying over at my dad's younger brother's (my uncle's) place. He had rented out a 100cc motorcycle called Hero Honda Splendor for a couple of months. He used to work overseas at the time. I was tall enough and walking around with the bike in neutral. Long story short, once I was comfortable with the weight of the bike, I stole the keys, went for a spirited ride through unpaved roads and ended up crashing. I had forgotten to ask my friends about brakes and braking techniques lol.

Between then and turning 18 (which is the legal age in India to get a license), I crashed at least two more times. Both the times could have been deadly but walked away unscathed. Not proud of myself at all but hell yeah, it was fun :ROFLMAO:
