as the song goes. Chilly down toward the lake but very warm up at the Forks.

out with the kid on his SV and two up with his friend on the back of the Burgman.

Pulled out in the wrong lane right from the get go ( hey 3 months in Australia ) Let the kid lead for a while after that

Grabbed the non-existent clutch a few times - made for some herky jerky and with two up my stops were horrid - shoulder still a bit sore so fine motor control on the brake was marginal.

Only tried to shift once,

Chatted with a few riders....saw someone with just about identical ST1100 - glad he found his piggy in the city too.

Good to see everyone out.....you were out....right? :D

I had a good rip today. Just a sprinkle of rain when we arrived at the 507 and boy did it make it slippery!!! Same on the way back too :( didn't have much luck with the rain today!

I got a vid up on youtube (super private of course), it was my first time trying to edit dual cams/picture in picture in Adobe Primere and I must be doing it wrong :( It was a huge pain to keep them sync'd and the picture in picture, every time I trimmed the clip I'd have to reset the PiP size and position. Maybe because I'm using two different brands of cameras :(

And the audio fading from one cam to the next :( The Drift has 1000x better audio than the GoPro, but suffers from bad wind noise at speed, so I wanted to get the take off audio from the Drift then fade it to the GoPro once cruising, haha! I ditched it and used all the Drift audio :(

Dual cam's set up, hyperpro is saying hi. Can you notice what's missing?

Friends license plate fell off right before the 507 (I'm the one in blue)

507 was great in comparison with the rest. The rest had a lot of sand. Peterson was pretty bad. Old barry's bay rd was great. Foymount and 515 were really sandy in some places. Glamorgan and Elephant were good. Quebec was bliss. 301 is my new favorite road.

BTW the Z8 interacts are amazing tires. This whole trip I was telling myself "theres no way I can ride this fast on wet roads and sand". They held on the 507 like it was dry.

Ding ding ding winner :)

Ahhh, glad we didn't run elephant/peterson like we were planning then. After getting rained on we called it a day after the 507.

That must have been fun for the poor sod in on the ST1100 - slippy with sand. Not the most agile critter I've ridden. I noticed a lot of rain to the north but it stayed up there.
I want a Penn run soon as my shoulder will go the distance.....still aches a bit.

301 is a sweet road for sure.

Route 301 is a provincial highway located in the Outaouais region in western Quebec. The route serves as a direct connection between the Pontiac region and the Upper Gatineau region. The 82-kilometer route runs from the end of Ontario Highway 653 near Portage-du-Fort and joins Route 148 for a 9 kilometer stretch up to Campbell's Bay where it continues eastward and ends in Kazabazua at the junction of Route 105.

Now my daughter has a two bedroom apt I can base out of Ottawa and do some of the roads N of Montreal. Anyone know how "close" the tickets between Quebec and Ontario are these days.

Daught we did 301 on the kayak camp run I'm pretty sure. Great area. Did you eat at your favorite Noah's Ark restaurant?? :D

Isn't it still cold up there plus sand sand sand?

I suspect it was warmer there than along the lake today. Was 11 down in Mississauga when I got home but 18 at the Forks.

small world...I have a camper trailer off the 515...nice country

BTW I am probably responsible for the rain. When I left milton at 6 I wished I wouldn't have the sun in my eyes all the way to 115. Wish granted :(

Lol at noah's ark. If it keeps the pigs away I will go there and leave a big tip.

We did the 301... twice since 366 ended up being a gravel road half way down.

Hows the 508/Calabogie rd? Hopefully bot as sandy as openogo rd.

Since we're showing off our sweet rides :p

Can someone spot what's missing?

Your fairings?

Feels like summer up at the Forks - balmy with some sun but rain cometh....:(
Oh well nice to ride with light gear and some clouds make it nicer sitting outside.
