Approx how long would it take me to sell my motorcycle (in Toronto)?

Hello Everyone,

I'm hoping to get some comments from people with experience selling their own motorcycles.
My 2015 kawasaki ninja se ex300 has 12,500km, runs perfect, and has a few upgraded mods.
The only issue is that I dropped it on its side last week and it has a few small cosmetic scratches.

I was hoping to sell it for around $3200-$3000 (before I dropped it), how much do you guys think I could sell it for right now with the scratches and how long could it take me to sell it? I know no one can predict the future but an experienced estimated guess would be appreciated.
Also, is Kijiji and facebook market the best place to post ads for motorcycles or are there other better places?

Thanks again in advance for anyone commenting and trying to help.

time to sold depends on the price and luck

I would ask 3000 for that bike. damage is minimal. certified I would really try for 3000.

ask what you want; go lower if it doesn't sell after 2-3 weeks

if you sell it cheaper, maybe give an interested friend a decent deal before letting it go too cheap

these are only my opinions...best luck

The market is hot right now and similar bikes get a good resale.

Check out what similar bikes are selling for and price accordingly. If you want a quick sale price for less than others on the market.

$3k sounds reasonable but I’d say a bit less if you want a fast sale. Prices tend to go down this time of year as people don’t want to store the bikes.

get an ad up and see how it goes

indicate in the description the low speed dump and details
include a picture showing the side of the bike with the damage
do not include a closeup with the damage circled like that

the used market will tell you the value
no one here can
adjust your price accordingly if you get no interest
