Anyone still using HID

Are you asking too much for them? That would be my first question.

I've used both in our cars . At one point we had 2 identical cars and I had HID headlights in one, and LED's in the other. I always preferred the HID's personally.

The problem for HID use motorcycle use is the fact that not all have a high and low beam, so for a traditional headlight, they're not of much use - accessory lights only. Secondary to that, many people are scared off by the need for a separate ballast unit that many/most HID's need. This is additional wiring, including a relay possibly if the existing wiring can't feed the higher startup amp demands of an HID.

In the end, the overall simplicity of LED's often win out for most people even if the end result is sometimes not as perfectly as ideal as you may have achieved with an HID.

New or used? If you didn't state new and still in a sealed package I would assume you were trying to sell used light bulbs.

All valid points.

New in (an open) box but never used. Stated clearly.
Is asking $40/OBO too much?
My kit is 1x H4 bulb (low beam), 1x H7 bulb (high beam), 2x ballast + wiring harness for plug-and-play installation / no wire splicing required.

Thanks for the replies and suggestions.

Post it with good pictures and I would think they would sell, even better what do they supposedly fit.
is there a finite list of bikes that works in? if people have to take the time to go look in their owner manual that's an obstacle to an impulse buy ;)
For instance that would be very cool in my BMW K100RS if it could be made to work, considering I am still running original bulbs from 1986.

Using LEDs in mine as well.
think it might be because you have two different bulbs, narrows down what bike it would work in.
I know most of my bikes were either one dual filament bulb or two of the same bulbs, I wouldn't want to buy an H4 and have an H7 I didn't need and vice versa.
You could try separating them and as Trials mentioned, even post a list of popular bikes each one fits in.
