Anyone running their air\oil cooled bikes with these temps?

My KLR was unbearable in stop-and-go traffic, the RE not so much.
Its all about air flow management - don't dump it on the rider.
You think your car isn't the same ? Open the hood on a day like today and see how much heat spills out.
I think the difference is car cooling systems are sized to sit in traffic in the desert with the a/c on for hours. Bike rads are ugly and hard to package so they make them small and marginally effective with loud fans to try to save the engine while stopped.

How many complaining about the heat were wearing black? Nothing like a black lid to concentrate the heat on your mellon.

My old LC ninja overheated in the stop and go thru toronto on the way to R4S in Trenton one year. Had to run the shoulder to keep it cool.

45C today.

Me, stepping outside for a minute:

I can't relate to these experiences. I've had like one bike ever that I experienced overheating (YX600) in stop and go traffic. Even my ZX-11D, which might as well had a rotisserie installed in front of your right leg, did not overheat.

Have *I* overheated? Absolutely. Can vividly remember sweating buckets on a parked 400 on my Triumph T595, with my clutch hand starting to give up. Bike was fine!

Edit: lol forgot to finish the post
