anyone know a kid or family who needs help during Christmas or just a kid who deserves a present but the parents can't get it for them. PM me. I would like to help.
Yes I have donated in other ways this year I just want to do something more direct so please don't tell me to donate to a toy drive or salvation army. Already done
 
No one I directly know but if you give one of the local women's shelters a call I'm sure they'd have someone that would be thrilled to receive the help.

We donated this year to a specific family and there were a lot available when we donated. PM sent about the details.
 
check with your local elementary school...as a teacher, we often pull our resources together for needy families in the area...

Check out your local rose of Sharon. They cater to young mothers. Someone there might know a regular in need of a merry christmas. I dontated a bunch of crap there on year (dinky cars, lego transformers) all crap from when I was a kid and in decent shape. Apparently I made alot of people happy that year. Might be worth a shot.
 
You could get the following items for Johnny P . He's seems like a good "kid" and it will make his hospital stay a little more comforting!

Great thread and thanks for making Christmas that much better. My Moms neighbor killed himself last week. Jumped in front of a train. So sad cuz he left a wife and two kids age 13 and seven. I'm gonna put $50 in an envelope and give it to the mother.
