Anyone into Photography?

Yeah is does look altered but pretty sure it's not ....would not be good for his reputation.
I was thinking more of doing it shooting on the water tho I suppose he could have been land based.
The lighting would have been ideal tho with bright tropical sun. He said he took four shots....maybe burst mode,

After a while you get a feel for where you want to be. This was a single shot. No cropping.

Just saw an interview with the photographer in Tahiti and looks like a big lens but handheld, land based and I gotta think burst mode as he did not know what he had until he got back home.
Finals of surfing tomorrow but that photo has gone seriously viral.
