Just got back from the Windy City. (Loved it!) The forecast for Sunday the 29th has taken a turn for the worst as it is now calling for rain.
I'd much prefer to do the ride on Sunday but if Saturday is the only clear day that weekend we could go on the Saturday instead.
This is a pretty long (and nice) ride so I do not want to waste it on a crap day. Obviously it is worth watching the forecast for a few more days before deciding but I was looking to see if there was any input from those interested such as delaying it another week or so.

Weather is looking descent out there... after work ride? I think so!
 
This weekend...With the way the weather has been lately I think the best way to approach this weekends ride is to just say Sunday or bust. (Forget Saturday) That way we can at least plan part of the weekend. If Sunday turns out nice we'll go, any rain and we'll just save this run for another weekend. I'll post up Saturday if it is a go or not and will be able to send anyone the route if they need it.
I'm crossing my fingers on this one but the season is young and I'll be doing this ride eventually. (I love this run.)

i'm in the north too! (thornhill). id love to ride with you guys sometime. just got my bike a week ago (after not riding last year), (my bike was stolen), anyway hope to hook up with some peeps to ride some wicked roads..!!

I'm in for a Sunday ride!!!! Maybe late morning/noon hour.
This week starting Monday we are supposed to have perfect weather, anyone want to set up a ride I'm in for that too!
 
Pretty sure this will call for 9am-ish.

Sunday isn't looking good at all. Did one of you shag the daughter of the Motorcycling God or something? This is unbelieveable! I haven't riden in weeks! The forecast for up north, where we would be going, looks a bit better (light showers) but I'd rather do this run on a really nice day as it is such a beautiful ride and the roads ain't going anywhere, they are just being cleaned.
It is a shame to put it off, and Sunday was even my B-day, but it will be worth it when we do end up doing this route. I promise.

On a side note I am riding this afternoon come hell or high water! Anyone have any plans or want to meet up for a few km's?
 
Damn, im disappointed but I trust you when you say its best done when weather is better. This gives me time to wait for my gears to come anyway and build up those "good bf/husband points" for this ride. What time are you heading out? And where are you planning to go?

Im down... me and a buddy are going to an airsoft store in Toronto (136 Geary Ave. Unit 109A, Toronto ON, M6H4H1) anyone can meet me there if you want then probly head back to stouffville area.
 
i wont be able to actually ride out until around 8 or 9. May be ill take a break and stop by to say hi :)
