As for this weekend, Friday I am taking off work. I am going through withdrawal and desprately need a relapse! Oh... I see sun!!!

You probably know me as the guy who doesn't like to commit unless I'm certain as well.;)
I have been looking forward to a nice long ride and a chance to meet up with some familiar faces but with the riding season stumbling out of the blocks it has not really had a chance to happen. I have an eye on a nice run, about 500k or about 9-10 hrs including stops for gas, lunch, etc. I did the same ride last year but have a put a small tweak in it. I thought it would be a nice ride to use as a good meet & greet and hopefully set the stage for some more great rides this summer.
Unfortunately with my schedule I cannot commit to a "this day at this time" kind of invite. I am hoping to nail it down in the next few days and then I'll be able to post the specifics and see who is interested.
 
Whos going to L&L tonight?
 
Eventually!! Hopefully work is dead and I can bounce out early... Im thinking around 10pm

I have the day 100% clear for this ride... there will be no missing it or having to rush back early. Looking forward to another one of 7up's epic all day rides!!

Just got back from the Windy City. (Loved it!) The forecast for Sunday the 29th has taken a turn for the worst as it is now calling for rain.
I'd much prefer to do the ride on Sunday but if Saturday is the only clear day that weekend we could go on the Saturday instead.
This is a pretty long (and nice) ride so I do not want to waste it on a crap day. Obviously it is worth watching the forecast for a few more days before deciding but I was looking to see if there was any input from those interested such as delaying it another week or so.

Sunday works for me... The ppl who are doing the forecast lately should be shot! Let's watch the weather, I'm free both days, and this ride is my priority ;) dunno what the route is, but honestly... With 7up at the helm, does it really matter??

Either day is good if dry. Hopefully, your planned route will have break-away points for someone (like myself) who needs to be back by 5 pm. Considering this aspect, I do not mind an early start. I wish that the weather cooperates.
 
Same here, I opened up both days just in case. Whatever day is best for riding... :)
