Yeah I have a GPS, don't know if its a garmin though, I'll make sure its charged up.
EDIT: Yeah its a Garmin Nuvi 255.

do you have mapsource? it's a free program on your computer where you can plan routes and load them on to your gps. Please let me know, because i am looking at the same gps unit and i already have the file from maer and want to know if it'll work.
Downloading and installing now. I have a mico usb already obviously, so after I am done setting it up, I'll post up again.
I also have the suction cup mount, but only a cigarette adapter.
Hi Guys going to try and make it out Friday. Yeah definitely do a Niagra run. You have to scout out re-grouping, refueling and eating spots.
Do not think I'll be on the May 1st ride but would love to run out there with you prior.
C-Note- I thought I sent you a PM mentioning I have a new 5" 1490 Garmin with programable routes, if you need to we can easily set it up on your bike. If any of you can hook me up with MapSource let me know I want that big time-thats the reason I had to pull maps out of my tank bag along the way (I wasn't throwing them away, I was passing them back.):thumbup:
Actually I want to try and get my old Garmin fixed, the older flip up antenna ones had the best screen for direct sunlight and I never had a problem with using a glove or vibration, I just wore out the charging plug.

I'd go, no probs... I think all you need is the enhanced drivers license, but to be safe I'll bring a passport.
As for MapSource, it wont work on my Windows 7 64x... I tried 3 different versions and all the installs failed, and from doing a tiny bit of digging, found that the older software (that is easy to find and DL) wont run on 7...

Use Windows XP mode in Win 7 and you'll be able to use the old software.
Are you guys sure you want RFID to come along? I heard he's a big ******.
