Gravel washout from last night's rain exiting the blind corner in the first valley north from Burlington was catching people out.

Just how fast would someone have to be going for that to be an issue?
 
That's a really nice piece of pavement! My favourite is mostly washboard, pot holes, road sand and loose gravel with intermittent sections of hard top :LOL:

Neil is awesome, he doesn't need a road (y) just a basic direction.
 
Thanks for the heads up! This is my fav part of snake road as you can open her up real nice and fly through the sweepers. If you are going south on this portion of the road watch out as there is a 3 way intersection where to piggy's like to sit with a gun while eating apple fritters.
Earlier on this year I had a couple close calls in the tighter portions of the road closer to the top. There was a ton of gravel and I haven't bothered riding it since.
I know 2 people who have ate schit on snake....the gravel can pop up out of no where. Almost makes me think people dump it on the road on purpose.
