Anyone got a Ninja 250 I can borrow for tonight?

You want my Ducati??? lol

..... on second thought..... NAHHH... only me touch me bike ,lol

Need one for tomorrow. A lil more notice this time at least.

Would like to pick it up around 10am. Will have it back in the evening.

Any bike will do as she will be riding my (now 4" lowered) R6 and I'll be riding the loaner.

$50 as usual. If it's a 250 or bigger and lowered lots I'll throw in some extra $$$ :)

Just a quick question your girlfriend has still not decided on a bike....I thought thats what this post was about I was gonna offer my lowered ninja 650 back when this theard was first posted but glad i didn't sounds like your just looking for a cheap rental so the two of you can go riding.

She still hasn't decided. She likes riding my R6. I'm still giving her lessons, which is hard to do if I'm in my car, she's on my bike :)

She rides for about an hour max at a time, so yeah, it's kinda a rental :D

You sound upset:confused:

Hey Jaime,

If you need a bike to ride with your girl, let me know. I'll be more than happy to lend you my buell. It's the least I could do. As long as you're the one riding it, you can borrow it anytime bro.

Thanks man! That thing is a torque monster, was tons of fun when I rode it before. I'll for sure take you up on that :)

Your HID's all sorted out? Sorry for not gettin back quicker but I had three servers go down at work (not ours) so those two or three weeks was totally retarded (workin till 2am some days :().

No worries bro. In regards to my HIDs, some days (low beam) they work, some days they don't.

Anyway, just let me know whenever you wanna borrow it.

Need another one =)

My bike is in the shop getting a new front tire, spark plugs, other maint stuff. Anyone got a bike I can borrow for this afternoon and night? Will shoot ya $50 plus return it with a full tank =) Doesn't matter what it is, CBR 125, Ninja 250, R1, Turbo Busa, etc. I'll be the only one on it. Must have valid ownership and current insurance.

I'm in Whitby, but if I can leave my car at your place then I can pick it up where ever. You're free to use my car if you need to.

Thanks.

what's her height and weight? i'm 5'6 .. yes im ****in short ... anyways if shes under 5'6 and 125 lbs i dont see how a 600 would be a good start, im ready for a 600 (i think) but this is my 4th season now

Hey Jamie,

just curious from a legal point of view, god forbid you get in an accident or bike is stolen- isn't the person who owns the bike a little screwed? I imagine your insurance doesn't cover it. Correct?

It's only fair he pay a cash deposit as a security for it... which should be in the value amount of the bike

Good question. I would assume it would be MY insurance because I'M driving it, no? I'll send a pm to Viffer and see if he knows and fire an e-mail off to my statefarm rep.

Wrong assumption - it's the owner's insurance that would take the hit.

You'd both get hit, the owner for making a claim and the driver for having an at-fault accident. It would be great if you could get an insurance rider to cover you in any vehicle (with some limitations ie. vehicle less than 300hp, vehicle less that $100,000, higher limits would cost more), but afaik that does not exist (and maybe cannot exist with the current rules) in Ontario.

Get a dealer plate and a dealer/shop umbrella insurance policy. This option would be a lot of trouble and expensive.
