Anyone ever setup a projector and screen?

Mounted about 9' away, looks fine, though, not sure how to use the cement drill so the mounts were a little iffy, it's kinda hanging there... I may just buy a stand for the screen

Cement drill? You need a hammer drill in hammer mode. Drill the holes, put anchors or blue tapcon screws in.

I used goo system screen paint to make a 140" screen. I barely had enough paint for one layer of base coat and one layer of top coat. I bought the paint from 2001 audio video almost five years ago and I just finally used it a few weeks ago when I had some time off last month. Surprisingly, the paint was still good after all those years. I just had to shake the paint container thoroughly. My advice to you if u decide to paint your screen is to use a hvlp sprayer and if you decide to use a roller, get two boxes of screen goo so u dont run out and do not overlap the rolled paint after two minutes. I kinda screwed up by doing just that and saw streaks gallore after I finished using up the paint on the last roll. I was dismayed at how badly the screen looked during the first few days, but over time most of the streaks have faded away that when the projector is on you wouldn't be able to see any deficiencies.

I hope you're watching that from bed, because that is insanely higher for normal viewing.

maybe hes one of those guys who sits in the first row of the movie theater?? LOL

Did you look at the ceiling screen option then??

i would if I was planning to watch movies from my bed and my bedroom ceiling
was high, but my plan was to
watch movies from my recliner...besides it was easier to paint the wall than a
textured ceiling.
