Anyone else out still riding on the nice days?

I got out today for a wonderful lunch :)

Yum. I prefer Pat's myself but both are delicious. I got out yesterday for a quick boot around town about an hour before sunset. Felt great to be out and see a few others on the road too.

Rode both days at the weekend. It was cool but very pleasant with the heated gear.

On Saturday I went 401 to Whitby and up to Port Perry for Breakfast. On to Fenlon Falls, up 121 to Kinmount then across 45 and up to Gravenhurst for lunch. Then over to Port Severn and down the 400 home.

On Sunday took the QEW south and took 55 to Niagara on the lake. Took the parkway to Niagara Falls, then to Fort Erie following the Niagara River, then port Colbourn, Dunville and Port Dover, then Paris, Cambridge and home.

If this is global warming, bring it on ;)

Nice loops ...I got in about 200k each day but feet cold yesterday. Skipped today - only 5 and not motivated, Tired of ice fog.
What heated gear?

China makes some great heated gear. Reasonably priced too.

Bundled up this morning - nothing extraordinary, just my BMG Thermosport gloves and an extra cloth jacket under my loose-fitting Joe Rocket touring jacket. I actually felt a bit too warm.

Also, impressive grip despite the cold/damp streets. Yay Avon RoadRiders.

Was out today for about an hour... My neck got a tad cold... Have to dig out the ski mask.

Bike spits up a big cloud of blue smoke after sitting in the cold all day. :tard: Gotta replace those valve seals pronto.

Hit Southdown rd, 118, 35 and back via Monck rd. yesterday, nice day for it.
Went back today on Southdown, but this time I was in a heavy truck, had to deliver in Kilworthy and Port Carling. :(

Mine's apart in the unheated garage now. Going to put a new air filter in it. I can't believe how much work that is. The battery is out and on an Optimate 3 charger.

What heated gear?

Gerbing heated jacket liner and insoles.

Its a few years old but is still working fine.

Not often I get to ride on my B-day but a buddy and I took a nice tour down to Prince Edward County for lunch yesterday. A little foggy on the northern part of the ride but cleared up as we got down to the lake. Roads were in great shape, no sand or debris yet as there hasn't been any snow down there.
Lunch at the Waring House and #2, Lake Road home.
One pucker moment when a small dog came out to chase me, I didn't even see him he was so far behind me, but my buddy almost hit him. Lucky for both parties involved.

Got out for a few hours on Saturday. Group of 5. Mixed bikes, great company, coffee to warm up a touch, but overall nice day, especially for December!

Told my wife Sunday, "Glad I got that ride in. Now I've gotta winterize the bike." Her response. "No way, 12 this weekend, if its dry, get out there"....she's a keeper.
