Enjoy the new ride! V-rods are difficult to classify, but those who own them sure do love them.
I personally haven't tried one, because any of the newer models at the demo days have forward controls (which I simply can't reach). My wifey tried one though, and absolutely LOVED the power and feel of the bike, but after a 15-minute ride didn't really appreciate the 'clamshell' riding position.
Although the bike is already 10 years old, I think it's important for Harley to *attempt* to innovate and re-invent itself. The V-rod was clearly a success, and I'm curious whether or not they'll take the risk and create something a bit different than the same-ol' same 'ol.
