anybody ever recieve a big payout after being hit?

NO big payouts have ever occurred in Ontario...yet the insurance agents sure are quick to sell you the FACT that you need ridiculous amounts of liability coverage $2m+.

I'd love to know what the max ruling has ever been in the history of Ontario personal automobile insurance liability.
I bet it is no more than $1m under normal circumstances. (ie Not involving a company & gross negligence)
 
It's absolutely rare but 5Mill is possible, if you need a lawyer I can hook you up with the only lawyer in the history to win a claim in those figures! Just saying PM me if you need!

if you not talking about Roger Oatley, then you're being lied to.



going over the 2mil mark is definitely not unheard of, but i requires some pretty serious injury to a young person, where long-term care is required.

i think the highest "win" in ontario is somewhere around 14mil. It was not a pretty situation.
