Any SCUBA enthusiasts in the house? Recommendations for dive shop and certifications.

Scuba 2000 in Richmond Hill was pretty decent when I visited. They even have a diving pool on site. I know it's not exactly Toronto but they're worth the detour IMHO.

I got my NAUI thru U of T Hart House. I see Guelph U Aquatics center has scuba in their red pool.
 
I did the NAUI course 1 or 23 years ago as a kid and the PADI course as an adult.. Both are pretty much the same content wise but if you want to travel around I would go with PADI its much better known on the other side of the world.
