Any recommended Sportsbike mechanic in the GTA??

Not sure if I'm understanding... you mean pretty much everybody is expected to haul the bike to the original dealership/mechanic to certify it? And I'm guessing you meant "bike" where you said "book".

The safety certificates are purchased in a book. That book is issued to a specific location. That location i inspected by the MTO enforcement people. When they come they want to see a list of things such as measuring devices for brake rotors, a way to lift the vehicle, headlight aiming equipment etc. They also want a letter from the local planning board that states the zoning is right. Only after all the requirements are met they license that location for doing safeties and the owner can now purchase safety books.
The regulation states that safeties MUST be done at the location that the book was issued too. Also every safety has to have a co responding invoice and that invoice number has to be written on the back of the shop copy. They audit the shops and there are nice fines for each violation.
What Ted does is not permitted thats why you cant find anyone else to do it. I personally couldnt care less but he is risking alot for the sake of making $60. Seems stupid too me. I am amazed he hasnt been caught yet. Let alone his Mr. Magoo safety style.

Been going to see Rob since the day he opened up his shop. To date i have never been disappointed with his quality of work. Im one of those people that expect my bike to look perfect when it comes out. Not with giant scratches, dirt, etc like from other shops. I also expect the work to be done right, the first time. I have been let down by a lot of shops in and around the gta, but rob has never been one of them.

rob's been out of business for about a year now, no more pannon

I called them a few weeks ago and he said they were still in business. I did think he was closed too, though.

From what I understand Robert is still working on bikes. Not sure about retail, clothes etc.
Had all my work done by Robert. Honest and knows what he is talking about.

Try this to connect with him.

Thank you guys for your feedback, I appreciate it. The retail shop has been closed, but I still work on bikes. For those who would like to get in touch with me, contact me at: info@pannonsports.com or use the e-mail address that 'cycling" provided.

The online store is still open, I have few Nexo stuff and Shark helmets left at 50% off.
