Any Peterborough riders out there?

Hello my husband and I just moved to the Peterborough area and we're wondering if there are any sport bike riders out there! We both have 250 ninja ZZR's and I'm hoping to move up to the ZX6R next year! Let me know if you're interested in meeting up for a ride sometime!

I am a sport-touring guy from Peterborough. I ride a Suzuki Bandit 600. Been living in Peterborough for 6yrs now and haven't found any riding buddies up here yet. We should set up a Peterborough riders meet and greet.

I am from the area as well looking for people to ride with. I ride a cbr600rr.

Great! I work every other weekend I should be free Sunday of next weekend if someone wants to go for a ride then providing it's nice out! Though it is Mother's Day....

I have every weekend off so I'm game any time. My dad is getting a 675r this month hopefully so we will be out most weekends

Another local guy here...would love to meet and greet and ride together with some locals. There was an article in the paper just last week about a biker night at the A&W on Chemong Rd. Wednesday evenings from 5:30-8:30. It said that all makes and models welcome and the A&W is happy to provide their parking for bikers. Sooooo.....I thought, aww what the heck, I'll take a quick boot up there. Nothing but a bunch of fat Harley guys(no offense but they gave me a bad look). Maybe we can all try again at that location. There were a couple sport bikes and sport tourers but for the most part it was the Harley/Too much chrome/tattoo/we r better than you crowd. Anyways...thanks for opening up a new thread regarding this area. Hope to see some of you soon.

Sweet sounds good maybe meeting at a Tim's somewhere in Peterborough would be better than the A & W as then we won't be intruding on the other bikers if we aren't riding with them! We should start a Sunday ride or do like Thursdays at 6 or something!

We wouldn't be intruding on them, its an open bike night put on by the A&W. I know last summer there was a bike night at the Country Style donuts/Ultramar out on Hwy7 on Tuesday nights. A good and easy meet up spot would be the Tim Horton's at the corner of the Parkway and Crawford Dr. It has a huge parking lot so they shouldn't raise a stink about "loitering" and it's handy to start rides from as you can easily get out of town and avoid the downtown grid lock from there.

Beauty weekend...great day today (Monday) took a tour around Rice lake :D
Sometimes it's a bonus to have Monday's off.

I haven't been down rice lake way at all. Might have to look into it for this week

It's a nice scenic tour,if you head out from bewdley.Turn at the sign for Harris boat works takes you on a view of the the lake from higher up.Comes out at Gores landing follow the lake and you come out at Roseneath (hwy 45).
I usually come home thru Hastings back Ptbo.

I headed out today up 28 and wound my way to Coe Hill. Up the Lower Fairaday rd and then west along 118 to Tory Hill, then on to Gooderham, south on 507. Swung south/south west at Buckhorn and rode through Ennismore and Bridgenorth. Best part was aside from when I was riding in town, I only came up on 2 vehicles heading the same way I was. Gotta love riding in cottage country on a Monday before the May long weekend!

Hey Everyone,

Was looking for some pictures from our newspaper clip and came across this post. I work at the A&W on Chemong Road, and the three of us that ride all ride sport/sport touring bikes. The bike night is definitely intended for all types of motorcycles, and we would love to see some more sport bikes come out. We try to make a point of introducing ourselves to everyone so that they all feel comfortable. Hope to see everyone out there! If anyone has questions let me know.

On that note, I also love to ride when I have time so if anyone wants to go for a cruise or meet up feel free to give me a shout.

Thanks everybody
