Any golfers here ?

Speaking of golf......i have a full set of Callaway Ladies clubs and bag that need a good home.I think they are approx 15 yrs old and in very good condition. Just make an offer.

The endorphophin rush when you hit a golf ball purely, is something to experience

Like hitting a baseball flush, or snapping a wrist shot / slapshot, a good tennis serve

I play to get a decent walk in. The golf is incidental. Things are way way better since I had a few lessons though. My slice briefly went away but when it creeps back my golf partner is stunned by the foul mouthed tirade that comes out. Frankly I’m surprised I’ve not been banned from most courses near me.

I've never had a one ball day. The best I've done is to lose just two balls over the round.

I play mostly for the entertainment value and time with friends on the course. I'm not that good that a bad shot (or 10) would make me unleash a string of profanity. I've only broken 100 once or twice in my life, but do enjoy being on the course and laughing at some of my shots.

I only played 9 holes!
 
Keep a driver and a few irons (9, 5 and PW) in the trunk since my work is close to a range. Prefect stress relief. I haven't seen anyone on a motorcycle show up with a full bag strapped yet.

When I used to dive more often I was working on racks to allow me to carry tanks and dive gear on the bike. Changed bikes a few times, had less time to dive and lost interest in the project.

Looking at some of @Lightcycle 's divide pics, maybe I should have taken the project further. Use one tank to feed the engine and with some trial and error you could probably ride the bike underwater. An old-school bike anyway. Modern electronics would hate you.

I'll have to take a picture, when I have my bike and an "arrow-and-quiver" bag I'm planning on getting from amazon

I rarely golf, not a huge fan.

When I do I leave the course with more balls than I started with as I am constantly looking for my ball in the rough/wooded areas the previous many days worth of "real" golfers will not admit there ball went into. Lost some of mine but find more than I lose.
 
My garmin watch is good entertainment when I’ve finished a round. It gives a map trail of the course and so it highlights where I’m off-piste trying to find my wayward balls. There is a silver lining, depending on the course I burn 700-1000 calories for 9 holes as I don’t take a cart. I take this as a reasonable excuse to sometimes have a burger, fries and a beer after a game. It’s like calorie free food. Sort of.

A few years ago while working the gate at Hockley a golfer arrived on a Harley with his bag attached to the back of the bike. He had made a small platform that sat at the rear of the bike and held his bag standing upright. The platform looked like he had used a motorcycle trailer hitch and modified it for this use. I've never seen another golfer arrive on a bike with their clubs.

When I bought my used irons I rode down to Burlington to get them. I wrapped them in towels and strapped them across the seat for the ride home.

I have done it.

Instead of a full golf bag, I made a smaller one out of a higher quality folding lawn chair bag as the staring point. I significantly reinforced it and made a better secured closure for the top and a stronger adjustable strap. I could put a partial set of clubs (one driver, four irons, wedge and putter) in it with the heads down when on the bike (no dividers in the bag). I strapped it diagonally across my back on the bike. A separate pouch inside for balls and tees. Worked perfect.

At the course you just removed the top, pulled out the clubs and flipped them over.

As noted, not a golfer...but I went multiple years with only the Ducati (no car) and still played at least one or two tournaments a year for work, got the job done.
