Some background:
I've been riding well over 40 years. Some of my best trips were 2up with the Squeeze on a 1200 GoldWing. (even scraped pegs at the Gap)
When my hips got bad the Wing had to go. I can still ride solo no problem but 2up rides don't last long before I'm feeling cramped and don't have room to move about to relax my wonky hip, leg, knee action.
I think the large expanse of floor board offered by the Burgman design may give me the room to move my legs around and be less cramped.
I was ready to pull the trigger on a bagged up 650 when the Squeeze pushed back. "Is it a real bike?" "Will I feel safe??"***
So the Big Ask: Any Burgman owners who'd being to swap bikes for a short ride?
Of course I have the trusty KLR but I'm willing to sweeten the deal with my white pride and joy if I have to.
Feel free to PM me.
*** Were ATGATT people but she had no problem riding in shorts and a T when I rented a twist and go in Greece. We both had a ball on it so I'm struggling with her objection a little.
