Another recommendation needed - dash camera installation

Any electrical wizards / car guys out there? Or can you recommend someone? Guy I used for installation of dash cams and hitches has quit and went to another line of work so I'm kinda SOL after I bought a new one online. Not sure if the most difficult part would be the actual wiring through the car, or the hard wiring of the system but would like to get it installed. Might be able to return it still to Amazon and buy with installation, but I'm happy with ThinkWare and wouldn't mind sticking with them. Picked up a pack of front/rear cameras.
Thanks!

Lately I have been using install kits from amazon. They tap an existing fuse (so you can pick always on or on with key only) and then provide a long fused lead to run to the camera. The worst part is pulling back trim to hide wire without breaking the bastard clips.

That's actually the part that intimidates me the most. I'm sure I can figure out the rest...except don't have the tools to pull back trim and such.

PA sells a kit of plastic wedges/pullers that is good enough for casual use. As for not breaking clips, that comes from experience (or the internet). Once you know the intricacies of the vehicle you are pulling apart, the 2nd time is easy (but rarely required).

Will pop there in the evening or Saturday morning. Thanks.

Yep - like most mentioned, using a fuse tap would be the best way to go if you intend to use the parking feature.

If the thinkware unit does not have a voltage regulator/sensor built in, maybe consider getting a power magic pro unit inline as well:

I had my dod ls460w hardwired back in 2014 - Jeff @ Lockdown security did it for something like $40-$80 (I forget):

I'd suggest 'youtubing' your thinkware model with your car /make model and see what shows up.
Chances are someone has made a decent walkthrough to guide you step by step.

Edit: Blackboxmycar now has the boxing week sales - some interesting bundles that may be worth a look: Big Savings on the Latest Dash Cams & Radar Detectors | BlackboxMyCar

Thanks. Booked my appointment for Saturday morning.

Sweet!
Looking forward to the outcome!
As am I. I have a shop literally a 2min drive from my house, but they're 2x the price. So getting out of the house after WFH all week and doing a drive is worth the distance. Car's been sitting all week anyway, needs an Italian tuneup.
