Another "Hey!" from Brampton

Hey folks. New rider here. Just got my M1 a few days ago. Excited to start looping around parking lots until I'm ready for the road!

Planning on getting a Honda CBR250r from the dealership in town in about a month or two.

Hope to join some of you in the future!

Actually, I should have said my girlfriend and I are getting our bikes soon. I'm just a step ahead.

She's about 5'-nothin' so she's looking at some cruisers like the VStar 250 and TU250x.

Quite an odd pairing of bikes if you ask me!
 
Welcome from a fellow Bramptonian! If you plan on taking a course, I can thoroughly recommend RTI. I took the course in Oakville and they had the TU250X, a cruiser (I think it was a marauder) as well as Honda CBR125, Yamaha dirt bike and a Honda CB150F to try. A few of each.

Oh you don't have to tell me....worst traffic in the province.

I have been looking into RTI but recently discovered Learning Curves through this forum.

Quick question - Are 125s considered limited-speed?

Whereabouts in Brampton are you? I'm down by Queen/Kennedy and I don't know what anyone is talking about...traffic is sooo light on the way to work I ride wayy more than when I was in Mississauga it's letting me really enjoy my bike now!
