And you wonder what the Cops are doing - local thugs on video showing illegal guns

When I first moved to Canada, 10 years ago, I lived in Markham. I took my daughter and 8 of her friends go karting at Jane/Finch for her birthday one year. Had a great time. Nice people, nice food and good go-karting. The parents had a **** fit when I told them where I'd been. Poor sweeties had probably never seen so many negroes in their sheltered, pampered princessy existences. One of the parents tried to educate me as to what Jane/Finch was. I laughed out loud.

Would I go there at night? Probably not. I have no reason to. Would I avoid the place like a plague? No. It's nothing compared to most European and US inner cities I've experienced. And this video just makes me think of J-Roc and Trailer Park Boys. If these people wanna get real gangsta then let them **** off to south Central LA or southside Chicago or Upper Harlem or even Kingston, Jamaica or one of the many, many other places where being tough and being gangsta is survival and not a game.

I'm as WASPish as they come, but even I can spot pretend gangsta versus proper gangsta.

Last time I was at Jane and Finch it was an almost all Italian middle class working community. Used to go to my friends house after the clubs to eat some of him Nanas home cooking.
Never worried about walking down the street at night.

An all Italian neighbourhood... you do understand why it is safe to walk down the streets at night in that neighbourhood right? Think about it, neighbourhood at Jane & Finch where people don't cause trouble. The thug "gangsters" are scared ****less of the real ones in suits and ties.

I grew up at Jane & Finch, I moved from there in the mid 70s, is was a fairly good neighborhood.
The Ontario housing townhouses was all ready there on Driftwood, but the neighborhood was 95% white.
There was a few white trash grease balls that lived in the area but not to bad.

I remember farms field with livestock right at Jane & Finch.
