Amsoil 10w40 and K&N 401 oil filter

The fuel line will drain the gas out of it? and where is the fuel line?

A fuel line is a hose that comes from the bottom of your tank (not to be confused with little overflow hose, but whatever). I highly suggest investing in a service/shop manual for your bike. Btw, adding stabilizer to the 8-months-old gas will not do anything anyway.

•Remove the side covers (see Side Covers Removal in theFrame chapter).
•Turn the fuel tap position to the ON [A] position.
•Remove:
Front Seat (see Front Seat Removal in the Frame chapter)
Lower Fairings (see Lower Fairing Removal in the Frame
chapter)
Fuel Tank Mounting Bolts [A]
Fuel Hose
Vacuum Hose [C]
Fuel Level Sensor Connector [D]
Fuel Tank
•Drain the fuel tank if necessary.
○Arrange a suitable container under the fuel tap.
○Turn the fuel tap position to the PRI position to drain the
fuel into the container.

This is what i got from the service manual.

So does this mean that the gas will come out of the fuel tap? or do i take out the gas container it self and drain it somewhere. Then go to the gas station and fill up the gas container and secure the hoses on the bike?

It'll come out of the fuel tap.

But why drain it? Just run it through and use it, can't be that big of a deal.

It'll drain from the fuel tap and once its drained, just assemble everything back together and fill her with gas...

Isn't it bad to run bad/old gas through an engine (Clogging?) or does it not matter because its "only" 8 months old?

Just ride the bike with the gas thats in it. Eight month old gas should be fine. With the all the additives that are in the gas these days, I doubt the gas will go bad in that short of a time period. If the bike runs fine with the original gas then I wouldnt go through all the trouble of draining it. (Just my opinion)......

My recommendation to drain it was based on the OP's wish to add fuel stabilizer to it, so my guess would be that this person wouldn't use the gas for another prolonged period of time...

On a full tank of gas, the Ninja 250 goes for 300+ km. Seriously, just ride it out on a long ride and fill it up. Not worth the time and expense of draining it.
