Given that his kid was assumingly in a Tesla, I would think there would be video from all of the cameras on the car that are used like a dashcam and constantly record. Nothing has been released except for Elon’s word. The jet account posted publicly available information regarding flight status of his personal (~company) jet based on the tail number. Anyone can very easily find that info with a simple google search, tail number is N628TS if you are curious.

If we accept Elon’s excuse as being valid, then how is LibsOfTikTok still up? An account that vociferously posts about LGBT related things that consistently has led to threats against their targets.

Elon has repeatedly offered to pay $Xk to the guy running that account to shut it down. Kid/guy refuses.

Musk made it his personal mission to shut that guy down, because he simply did not listen to Musk's request...and Elon doesn't like dissent. He's rich, everyone around him is a 'yes sir' type of person, and he can do no wrong.

This is nothing more than 'free speech' in action, but only when it suits him.

It's his sandbox, and he can let whoever he wants (or doesn't want) into it. Free speech is not freedom of consequence...and if the free speech champion deems it hurts his feelings...well there's a consequence for those that don't play by the rules in HIS sandbox.

I love it though, because each time he does this and bans people that he doesn't agree with, it just shows the world of what kind of ******** he really is.

I deleted my Twitter once I saw the thing going downhill....and you know what...I don't miss it at all.

EDIT: Let's not forget that Twitter shut down a lot of accounts also. Now those (IMO) bred hate, division, and a lot of spewed bullcrap. But they did shut them down because they didn't follow the ToS that Twitter had. This is no different. Just a different owner, with a different viewpoint and different goals.

Twitter isn't the only platform out there, the guy tracking his planes just posts the same info elsewhere... 🤷‍♂️

He offered the kid $5K IIRC. Kid wanted more like 50K. Musk told him to pound salt. Instead he bought twitter for 44B and then killed the account. That's 880,000 times more money than if he just paid the kid what he asked for.

A lot of armchair QBs can express their opinions of EM.

I think it’s easy to be a critic until you walk in the other person’s shoes.


I’m sure EM is feeling it and I’m sure his intent was good. But I also think a lot of folks who rise to a certain level do the same. Then stuff happens and things get out of control.

I’m not a fan boi and think he’s done some things others missed the boat on. But I’m sure he is gonna slip on some banana peels too.

Time will tell.


Edit*. Just hope he doesn’t go full YE/Kanye.
