Am I the only crazy1? SS and a cruiser simultaneously.

I have had one or the other at any given point in my riding history. If I had the money I would definitely have both in my garage now. The GSX-R was an amazing bike but I found my cruisers (s40, s50) to be more enjoyable booting around town. They're both small and nimble compared to bigger cruisers, so they're still pretty fun to toss around.

For the record, the GSX-R was more comfortable. I would pick it over my cruisers for any longer rides especially those involving highway. Commuting around town (which is what I pretty much use the bike for) the S50 takes it. I'd like to get another SS one day for track days...but why stop at two bikes? As mentioned earlier in the thread, fill your garage if you can.

First of all thank you all for your feedback. After giving it a lot of thought based on everything I read on this thread, I have decided to bite the bullet and buy the Stryker. Now comes the hard part of negotiating at stealerships. I'm hoping everything will go smoothly. Will be posting pics soon. If anyone is planning to do Blue Ridge Pkwy early next spring, please start a thread in group rides section. Me n my gf would love to tag along.

You riding two up to the Blue Ridge? On a Stryker? Oh Boy!!!! Ummmmm........if it was me, I'd give the R6 a run down .....with a buddy or two, each on your own ride and have fun. If you want to catch some sights with the gf, at least check out some seat options and a back rest for the gf. Still won't be much fun but, she might appreciate the attempt of making the accommodations better. Good luck. And take the GF with you when you check out the Stryker. See how it fits you with and without a passenger.

Where would you buy a Corbin seat from? Directly from their website? Last time I ordered slip on exhausts from a US site, I got slapped with $120 in brokerage and duty.
