So...
I'm in the market for a small to commute to work and do the odd track day with (maybe 1-2/year) I will realistically put 5,000km/year on my bike (3 kids, wear a suite to work often)
I have owned an R1 for 5 years, CBR1000RR for 1 and lastly a Ducati monster.
I know I want a 600cc bike but I can't make a decision.
Option 1
2009 R6 10,000km
aftermarket exhaust, fender eliminator and a couple other things that I would do if it was stock.
Price is $7500 +tax and it needs new tires.
Option 2
2009 CBR600RR 1,100km's
Stock
Safetied and ready go. Needs nothing but aftermarket parts at my choice.
$7,800 taxes in
I know without a doubt that the CBR is a killer deal compared to the r6 and it's proven to be a better motorcycle for my needs.
For some reason I keep leaning towards the R6.
Am I as nuts as I think I am? I think I need to sit on them both and see what one "feels" best.
