Aloha! Any Aprilia riders here?

Nicceee 😁

Do you know a good Aprilia mechanic?

check out this thread:

Honestly, I don't! I don't really frequent any shops.

What is wrong with it?
I bought it new old stock in 2018

The chain has tight spots

My ex used to look after it for me

Now I have to figure things out for myself

Possibly needs new chain & sprockets

Chain and sprockets are a pretty straightforward job, really any shop should be able to help you out there.

In the event you have basic tools and a chain breaker and wanted to tackle the job yourself I can email you the factory repair manual.

Ken Livingston is a stand-up motorcycle guru, he owns Kens Motoworks, 2020 Wentworth St Unit 6, Whitby, ON L1N 9A8.

+1 for Ken of KMW.

Nice bike! Have never seen one on the road here. As said, most here seem to be on Tuonos...

Aside from the excellent shops mentioned here, Corsa Meccanica seems to be the go-to for Aprilia mechanics in the GTA. The biggest problem is they're a relatively small shop and have a good rep, so wait times can be long. And you definitely don't need an Aprilia specialist for chain work.

I'm considering buying a 2014 Aprilia RSV4 R, but it's in Quebec and I'm in Burlington. That's a long drive if the legendary riding position is too extreme for me. I know it's a lot to ask, but would anyone allow me to sit on theirs so that I could gauge fitment for my 6-foot frame?

There is an Aprilia dealer in Collingwood

Check them for stock

Wayyy over priced

However you may be able to try for size
Thanks Kachina. There's also Two Wheel Motorsport in Guelph, which incidentally, is where I bought new the Kawasaki Versys 1000 that I'm riding. I'll have to pop by.
