allstate anyone?

from what i know, they don't insure motorcycles...i used to have car & home with them and they were good for those...
 
I had my motorcycle insured with them and it was the worst customer service I have ever received.

I had my bike as well as renter's insurance with them. Had all sorts of hassles with what my actual payment would be, taking two payments out, not refunding, etc. I had to go quite high up to get my money back and decided to cancel everything given the ridiculous customer service. Would NEVER go with them again or recommend them to anyone!

They do insure motorcycles -- just not Sport bikes. They will write standard bikes.
 
Allstate also provides a 30% premium discount for qualified motorcycle riders.

As for their customer service it's worth reviewing the JD Power results, they rank quite high in customer service.
 
I asked for a quote from them and they asked "what bike do you want to have insured?". -> "A cbr125". They said "oh sorry, that bike is too much for us, we only insure cruisers"... Never knew a CBR125 could be "Too much" of anything lol.

They do insure motorcycles BUT they don't know what they're insuring. My opinion is STAY AWAY!

They dropped my motorcycle policy with them because my SFV650 was a "naked sports bike"... which is a different class than the SV650 "naked sports bike" which they would insure.
 
Allstate does insure motorcycles, but they do not like sport bikes (or naked sport bikes); however, they do insure sport touring bikes.

I am not sure why they are not insuring SFV650 since it's just a naked version of SV650. I can find out for you.
