Advice for Kawasaki Parts

My partner (stupidly) let someone get on his bike ... and of course they accelerated instead of breaking, scraping up against a brick house and dropping the bike on the ground.

The bike is a 2007 Kawasaki Ninja ZX10 (I'm not familiar with bikes, bike lingo, or much else to do with bikes) It's special edition and 1000cc. He works 24/7 and is from Europe so he hasn't gotten around to fixing it yet so I've turned to this forum for him.

What needs replacing:

One whole side/front plastic needs to be replaced
A light
2 mirrors
I think the shield is cracked

I haven't seen it since we put it in storage last November, so I'm not sure what else needs to be done. It's the opposite side of what's shown in the picture I've attached. The back seat is also a little torn and maybe? bent. I need advice on where to go to have these things fixed in the GTA. We live in Toronto but I'm willing to drive up to 2 hours away. Any other advice is helpful and appreciated.

First time poster - sorry if thread is misplaced. I recognize that these fixes will be costly, but it's his favourite bike. And if anyone knows of any nice/expensive motorcycle clothing stores (unisex) please let me know. I've been to the motorcycle shop/storage on Lake shore and Brownsline and asked them about repairing, but they told us to find the parts first/order them and then they can put them on. I'm not comfortable with doing the ordering online myself, prefer to go somewhere. My stepdad told us to go to Zdeno's but I'm not sure if it's worth the trip (I'll probably call them today)

Thanks!

Go to zx-10r.net. There is a section where people post parts for sale. Quite often someone would post a thread like "parting out ...", that's where you can snap great deals on used stuff.

As far as mirrors go, I found a pretty decent deal on eBay:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110500361414&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
I don't think they are stock, but close.

Edit: Continuing...
If you can't find used parts (or just want new ones), check out:

Ahh... Just noticed that you don't want to order yourself. Well... You can save some serious money by doing it yourself, so I'm still encouraging you to at least consider that as an option.

I could help you out with getting the part numbers. PM me if you want.

Thanks so much, those sites look great. Yeah I'm just not familiar with ordering online (never used Ebay) so it's not the end of the world if I have to and I know it's a lot cheaper. I guess what I'd want to do first is know exactly the name of the parts I need so that way ordering is easy. I just got off the phone with the bf and he said he also needs the front plastic. I'm looking at the cheapcycleparts website and I'm not sure which parts are which. Should I take the bike to get checked out? Is there somewhere good to do that (specific shop, Kawasaki?). This happened at the end of summer 09, so he didn't get to ride at all last summer and I want it to be done ASAP.

Since I'm not a rider myself, I'd just feel sooo much more comfortable speaking with someone that knows what they're doing and listening to them... but not get ENTIRELY ripped off!

Do you have the bike with you? If so, things are easy. All of these online stores have part diagrams with numbers. You don't need to know the names. You just look at the bike, see a broken part, pull up the right diagram, check the number on the diagram and place an order.
You could check the online prices and call the local dealers for quotes, just to see how much you'd save.

Edit:
Here's what a diagram for the front end cowling looks like (taken from cheapcycleparts):

There are two versions of the 2007 ZX-10R:
ZX1000-D7FA (US) <-- you probably want this one
ZX1000-D7F (European)

The bike is down the street from me in storage... sooo kind of easy but at the same time difficult because it's wedged between other bikes and the shop owner told me if I want to see it I have to give him 2 days notice. I'll call local dealers for quotes.

Thanks for the Niagara link. Does anyone know which bike I have... I know I'm such a noob, sorry. It was ordered and shipped to the U.S. so it could be the European one, but I know it's special edition so is it the 3rd one with the A on the end? I don't have the ownership here and I can't pick parts without knowing.

2007 Ninja ZX-10R (European) (ZX1000-D7F)
2007 Ninja ZX-10R (ZX1000-D7F)
2007 Ninja ZX-10R (ZX1000-D7FA)

It probably doesn't matter. Loop up your parts for the US bike, then do the same for the European version and see if they are the same or different. Most likely they will be the same. You can always call your bf and ask.
