acf-50 and heat

So I got some of this stuff to prevent rust etc, but the bottle states keep away from heat and hot surfaces...except every metal part thats going to be near the ground(and salt) is exhaust pipes...engine casing...etc etc...

So...I assume I cant really use this stuff? Or apply to those surfaces?

its not really meant for painted surfaces or plastic....

I assume the warning about heat is for the liquid form being flammable before application. Once applied it's clearly okay.

Can confirm, it tends to 'smoke' on the exhaust pipes...but nothing catches fire

Maybe they mean don't spray it WHEN the surfaces are hot. Once they're cool, all good??
