hello im a new rider and i just dropped my ninja 250 for the first time; there are scratches along the right side of the bike and i was wondering if anyone knew a good place to get it fix. im not picky about the price I just want a good job done. so if anyone knows a place i can go it would be much appreciated, thanks.

try Gilligan on the site, or Rick Impera of Impera Autobody (he's right beside Snow City on Kennedy, north of Lawrence)

My buddy does graphic work, and has a guy who can prep/clear. I think to do the prep/clear is about $100-$150 per panel, not sure what my buddy would charge for the artwork, but he is usually cheap, a couple of the bikes he has done:

I know it's not what you are probably looking at, but for a little bit more you can turn some heads ;)

If you dropped it once you'll probably drop it twice. Whats the point in wasting money on paint? Just ride it.

+1

When I was brand new I dropped my bike at a standstill . Spent some time re-painting and fixing it up. Shortly afterward, dropped it again riding over some gravel. Had to re-do the work.

Luckily those repairs were cheap and I did all the work myself, so it wasn't too painful... but I realized when you're new, you should really only worry about fixing any actual damage (i.e. bent levers) and don't stress the cosmetic issues too much.

A few scars add character. Don't worry about it. Ride safe!

Redline Customz has been good to my car in the past and at a good price. Friend had some bike scratches fixed up there and was very happy.

What others have said, don't bother painting it unless you're about to sell. Put that money into keeping the bike actually running good.
