Nothing in any of those links says he was having a seizure. I've witnessed that and it didn't look like this.

My mother was actually rear ended once by a person having a seizure behind the wheel a few years ago. I believe if you have epilepsy you pretty much get your license suspended until you're cleared by a doctor.

Much more likely that he thought he was pressing the brake, and was actually pressing the accelerator. Nothing stopping the shift mechanism from going between reverse, neutral, and forward in that direction, and he probably didn't hear (or clue in to) the engine revving madly as it passed through neutral - he thought his foot was on the brake.
