92 Year old Driver - Video

For someone who is otherwise struggling to control their vehicle, that guy changes gears in the blink of an eye

I understand that the dude's gas got stuck. But how do you go from going forward, to reversing (while going PAST neutral) and then back while flooring the gas the whole time and not just leave it in neutral.

Much more likely that he thought he was pressing the brake, and was actually pressing the accelerator. Nothing stopping the shift mechanism from going between reverse, neutral, and forward in that direction, and he probably didn't hear (or clue in to) the engine revving madly as it passed through neutral - he thought his foot was on the brake.

Defective operation of a motor vehicle.

He was laying down a pretty good circle. I guess that was his last day behind the wheel. Ever.

One of my exes grandmother drove through a convenience store cause she thought she was pressing the break pedal and not the gas. LOL

Someone remind me why the elderly get cheaper insurance premiums again?

Because they are retired giving them plenty of time to write complaint letters to politicians regarding "age discrimination".

Fortunately the situation is changing a little as more and more research has been completed resulting in seniors overall paying a little greater insurance premiums then they used to (but not high enough for my liking).

Hopefully the driver in Taiwan was never able to drive again.

Because most of them are better drivers than you or I.
Plus the Insurance company probably dings them for a whole year when they give up driving for good.

Going 80 on the 401 with the blinker on is not "safe driving"

Can't tell from your post if you are joking or are serious.

At fault collision rates start going up significantly at age 65 and spike at age 80; by age 80 the at fault collision rate is worse then new drivers under age of 25. Since senior drivers have been driving since Jesus Christ was in shorts, what is their excuse for this?

The gas didn't get stuck, he mashed it thinking it was the brake. You can see the car take off right when he's supposed to be stopping the first time he goes forward. Typical "stuck gas pedal" problem.

92 year old panics and tries to get away. :lmao:

85 year old uses her wipers to clear the gore after hitting first pedestrian. :lmao:

Anyone ever play die hard trilogy on, I think it was ps1? It was three games in one, the third one was a driving game where you had to race to different spots in the city to disarm bombs. When you hit pedestrians the wipers would come on to clean the blood. **** was hilarious. I think carmageddon 2 had that too.
