50% off next 4 hours on gear

I'm not sure if they lost money on my initial order, but I'm sure they're making it up on my following orders. (I bought a bunch of stuff at 20%—I didn't have time to search all the stuff I wanted when the 50% sale was on.) Definitely happy so far.

Three visors and a pair of gloves.... still awaiting fulfillment from April 5th. I am beginning to lose my patience.

I received a jacket, and drove down to London to get it exchanged as the size didn't fit. I was charged a fee for an exchange (which is fine because anything at 50 off is final sale). They told me they lost 15% on every single order that went through that day. The 50% off was supposed to be strictly for people who had ordered from them before, but since someone posted here on the forums, they got a lot more orders than expected - but still honoring them.

Because of this, I will be quite surprised if they have another 50 off sale like this again.

The purpose of this type of loss leader promotional campaign is to attract new customers! Unless they are just saying that to make u feel like now u belong in their inner circle of customer with exclusive deals or they really did intend for existing customer only and luck out on attracting a bunch of NEW customer. Either way, it was a successful campaign to have attracted so much volume. You have to treat it as an advertising cost and look at the long term positive impact of the expanded customer base and not on individual sales loss. I am sure they will continue this every year.

Oopsie....to be fair I thought it was an open sale, drum up custom, get exposure type thing. It certainly worked, I'll be ordering more things from them.

It was posted in couple different forums as well, if it was their plan to only have repeat customers take part in this deal they bombed that one.

Well, it did work for them in some respects... I have never even looked at their website before... Now it's another place to comparison shop, and now that I am on their email list I get their offers for more discount specials (15% - 20%)... They may get further business from me in the future...

+1. Friend picked up the Team Buy discount and ordered some knox stuff. Wouldn't have known about their website had it now been for this sale/promotion/etc. Short term pain, long term gain ?

Speak of the devil, just got an email, 25% off for 24 hours (in stock items only, blah blah blah...) discount code is 25for24

Errr.... "The coupon code you entered couldn't be applied to any items in your order."

Attempted to order a MX helmet; tried a Bell and Scorpion helmet with no luck...

That figures... well, here's the flyer...
