$5 Weather Proof USB Power Outlet on sale at Princess Auto until Dec 31 2011

I just put mine together this morning - SAE connecter which will connect to my leads from the battery tender connection to the battery. The other end is the PA USB connection. Done properly with soldered connections and shrink wrap. Would anyone be interested in me making up some of these? I would have to look at pricing of the SAE connector but figure $20? Pick up in Barrie or Concord during the day.

i use 2 of them running to a hardrive cable to power the gps. they don't produce enough power.

i have 4 of them. 2 on the bike and 2 spares sitting around.

uhm, how do you figure. I was the one asking for it and brought back a 2 year old thread as someone else mentioned...lol
I have a brand new one in the package, you can have mine for free if you want to come to Ajax.

It's not recommend to connect it right to your battery. The USB adapter is drawing power, even with nothing plugged into the USB port, so after a week or two of not riding your bike your battery will be drained enough not to start it :(

I bought one of these good for powering a gps, but wont charge an iphone
This is correct. They wouldn't charge my iPod properly but worked fine for my GPS and GoPro. I replaced them with an upgraded dual USB 2.1amp waterproof unit.
