49th CVMG Vintage Rally at Paris June 16-18/2023

It's been a while since I attended so may do so this time.

My recollection is a bit vague but what is the predominant theme of vintage stuff for sale or display ie: old British, Harley or Japanese?

A lot of Harley stuff, but it varies every year.

It’s always an interesting walk around , and it’s a nice ride/drive out there

Hoping to have at least a couple bikes out if I can wrangle a large trailer. Could be the first time I camp in the Roadtrek at this event instead of a tent....

Looking for parts for an 87 Honda CBR600F.

Will there be people selling parts for bikes of that vintage/style ?

10 bucks is cheap enough in my books to maybe take a look around. We will see how the weekend shapes up.

I'll be there with my trials riding daughter on/in the Ural

The latest (June) CVMG Newsletter "Bike and Bits -Member's Small Ads" section had bikes and bike parts from 1938, 1944, 1947,1965, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1977, 1978, 1982, 1985, and 2003.
Over the years (since 1973) that I have been going to this rally I think that I have seen bikes and parts in the flea market from just a few years old unused (NOS) stuff for current models, back to probably 100 year-old bits for ?????. Oldest bikes I can recall were a 1903/04 belt drive Kerry and a 1905 Riley. And lots of 70's, 80's and later stuff.
AFJ
just a reminder - today June 17th - go!

Was there!
Mostly Brit bikes and Hondas, but it was an education to see how far bikes have evolved.
My personal nominations for best bikes are the Benelli Sei and the Honda CB400 four.
Honourable mention to the Indians.

The visitor's bike parking lot was full.
Was looking out for the gent with the new Ural, perhaps the Ural was parked at a spot I missed or turned up at a later time.

Hey, that's my KTM in the background.

It was a good event. Lots of interesting bikes including a Flying Merkel and a Henderson single as well as a 4 cylinder. I hadn't seen a Benelli 6 in decades.
Did you get to hear it?
