Hi all,

Last time I went to Montreal last year someone had the greatest idea of all: Close ALL rest areas between Toronto and Montreal at the same time.
We're going to Quebec later in the summer and I was wondering if any of the RA were re-opened. Anyone ventured between TO and MTL recently?

Thanks.

Why don't you just exit when there's a sign for food and fuel? Those places aren't very far from the highway.

Babies aren't known for patience. Tried that last time. And with frequent stops, it all adds up to the travel time.

Still nothing eastbound between Kingston and Prescot, stop off at Brockville exit 697 I think, turn left at the off ramp exit and you'll see Timmies, KFC etc. Westbound between Prescot and Kingston there's one open now.

I feel your pain. Last time I did this I just stopped for a 10 minute break every 2.5 to 3 hours so the kids could stretch a little, do their business and we could give them some kind of small snack to keep occupying them for a bit. Games help and if you are all wearing these, it can make for a fun trip.

Going to Florida there are countless rest areas to stop at along the way with parking, rest rooms, and vending machines at some. They operate 24 hours and they are rest areas. There are not selling gas, coffee or fast food. These types of rest areas is the best Ontario can do?

Yeah theyre all reopened.. I just drove to Quebec City this weekend and they were all brand new places opened up.. Called "Onroute"
