Yea you want a mostly trouble free and mint one expect to pay a premium. I'll PM some examples and pricing tonight. I haven't import a bike in almost two years, but it shouldn't have changed too much since then. Btw it shows up on your front lawn in a crate.

I will keep you in mind and PM you if I get "seriously" interested. I know that these bikes will mostly not be 100% trouble free or in mint condition.

I actually wouldn't mind the same info as well - I have been hunting one of these for a while, but never really looked into the import idea.
 
I know someone in Japan who buys/fixes these and other in demand bikes for export. If anyone is interested PM me with what bikes you are looking for and I can ask him what is available/prices.

Shipping cost to Canada is approx $1900-2000
 
Kinda unrelated, but we have a CB1 (400cc) and a CBR250RR with us at this year's Deal's Gap trip. If I have to let Matt ride my RSV4 in return for a go down the Cherohala on the 250RR, I will. :)
