any info would be great people;

found this bike at a dealer - previously one owner, serviced top to bottom - looks great - however, has 27,000km..

at this price and those km's - does it sound like a fair price?

another thing, salesman stated - they bought the bike from an auction??? i'm use to cars from auctions, not always a great thing - typically hit or miss - same logic apply for bikes?

any insight would be great - thanks.

That is WAYYYYYY over priced. 8 year old bike. Kms arent too bad.
They are not very expensive new, so do some more research. $3000 would be 'reasonable'.

For a private sale, it would be a tiny bit over priced. From a dealer, it's a pretty fair price.

Yes, it's high. I paid 4100$ from a dealer for a 2007 GS500F w/800 kms.

^^+1 I agree for both Private+Dealer prices.
Atleast it comes with a warranty. Try to haggle down to $3500 atleast. I paid $3600 for my '08 GS, but that was a private sale.
