The CB300F redlines at 10500 (hard rev limiter), and the Ninja 500 redlines at 11k. The parallel twin on the Ninja had more to do with the buzziness than the cruising rpm though.

What is the rpm at 100 km/hr on these bikes? On my cb 750 is was around 5000 rpm or so and that made for a tiring ride after awhile. It only had a 5 speed so that would have something to do with the rpm. The bandit I just upgraded to turns 3500 rpm at highway speeds and much more comfortable.
