They have an aggressive campaign on now - saved $400 on a bike only policy as compared to SF. It's a one time sign up deal and rates similar to SF afterwards.

called allstate..they will not to a sport bike stand alone policy. I would have to get some other insurance with them as well. Isnt that against the rules?
Yes, they're not allowed to force you to bundle insurance

Uh... A CBR600RR is definitely a super sport as well right? My brother rides one and he's with Desjardin.

Yeah they wont insure Supersports.
Insurance in this province is getting really bad. Someone needs to do something about it. It's an absolute joke.
I'm 24 07 R6 and my only option is to pay Facility 4793.00 for the year for full coverage.
Scam artists. They encourage people to ride without insurance.
Since you stripped it down to a naked anyways, you would have been farther ahead to buy a a VFR, 599 Hornet, 919, Monster, FZ8, FZ6S, CB600F, Supermoto etc.....same wheels, suspension, and brakes as sportbikes for all intents and purposes, but classified as a non sportbike.
When I was 36, with SF for 14 yrs with cars and home etc, no tickets, never a claim in my life, and having a bikr licence since I was 16, I was paying over $1300 / yr. I was ******.
Got rid of a sportbike, got a Supermoto. then I could shop somewhere other than SF. FUll coverage on an 07 KTM 950 SM- $787/yr
