Its weird though on the ticket he put using a communication device but on the summons its says operate motorized vehicle while operating handheld device. Might be something a paralegal could get them up on.

While waiting at a bus stop this morning, I saw a woman driving a nice Mercedes texting while driving and ran right through a solid red light...
I agree with you.
 
I dont disagree with it being unsafe, especially texting, I just happened to answer my phone after the same person called for the third time and thought it was an emergency and traffic wasnt even moving, but i still got booked.
